Can’t Beat What You Get for the Price
Given that my old computer was dying and I wanted something new, I purchased this computer. Additionally, I needed something inexpensive as I would be doing a lot of traveling and didn’t want to worry about potential damages.I have almost always been very happy with HP laptops. They are all I buy because of the affordability combined with reliability. Nothing special; they just do what you ask of them.This computer is exactly that. It has served me well as I work my way through the Balkans. It does what I need and is fast enough to run my data analytics programs. This is not a gaming computer. It is simply something that would work well for school, personal use, or work.
Easy Setup but…
Setting up this laptop is definitely easy. It runs fast, and the screen is beautiful. It’s nice and light, but I don’t like the fact that Bing is the default search engine that you cannot change. There are lots of Bing extras that are nice, but side by side comparison, the Google search engine is far superior in my opinion.The keyboard keys are very difficult to read in low light. I had to buy a rubber keyboard pad. The biggest annoyance is NO operator’s manual. This computer does so much, but I spend most of my time trying to figure out how to use or change things, and there is no manual available online for download that I could find.Great product, but..

Although my old laptop served me well in the past, the 8GB of RAM was no longer sufficient. This one has 4 times the RAM, and it is absolutely amazing! It is so fast! I have not been able to bog it down no matter how many things I have open at the same time! Thanks for fast shipping, great packing, and an overall fantastic computer!
Screen Quality is Horrid
Despite the impressive specs, the poor picture quality makes it necessary for me to return it immediately. I have reinstalled drivers, updated and played with settings. The screen is simply washed out and dull. I would not recommend it. Oh, and the keyboard is trash.
